I disagree in part with METSGT86, are almost the same thematic dialogue and action, and the big problem I see is now drawing DISNEY ago, it seems exceedingly poor, as for an audience of 8 to 12 years. I would suggest you check out Avengers #1 out at marvel.com/digitalcomics/titles/avengers... the 1st 4 Avengers were The Hulk Antman Wasp Ironman and Thor
I think this new series is great. I look forward to more episodes and to seeing the show coming out on DVD. These are the Avengers characters that I remember from the 1960's. Somewhere along the line the Avengers find Captain America in a block of ice. They thaw him out and he joins the team.
By the way, the original Avengers group were the Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye,Hank and Jan Pym or better known as Ant Man and Yellow Jacket, Wonder-Man and I think Thor but I can't confirm. I know it was not this current group of Avengers because the Hulk was always the one hero, that every Marvel super hero had to fight against, but never became close friends, and was never in any group! He was ...

He was too wild and uncontrollable since he really was a monster but with a scientist for an alter-ego.

I do like the new Avengers cartoon but it still lacks the storyline puch that the Justice League or either of the Superman or Batman animated series, had. This cartoon, much like most Marvel cartoons and recent movies, is mostly about fighting and not much dialogue. That's not how I remember the JLA or Superman TAS, Batman TAS or even the original 60's series of Spider-man. Now the new ...

This cartoon, much like most Marvel cartoons and recent movies, is mostly about fighting and not much dialogue. That's not how I remember the JLA or Superman TAS, Batman TAS or even the original 60's series of Spider-man. Now the new Spectacular Spider-man cartoon is done really well with good storylines and script. I just feel this cartoon needs to be more like those cartoons to be considered an excellent cartoon like the JLA or Spectacular Spider-man. And for the commentor who said this new Avengers cartoon was like the JLA, all I can say I think you should buy the DVD of the first season of the JLA and see for yourself it's not! Still this is a good cartoon, but it does need a little fine tuning with the stories!
