No disrespect to Chris Evens its not his fault the studio wanted to save a few bucks.
Agreed he's no Cap I wouldn't follow him on twitter let alone into battle for my life. If they were trying to make this movie funny they should have just cast Woopie Goldberg I might actually pay to see that. Never the less just another download thank you internet.
not "mento".."mentor". lol i made him sound crazy! lol mis-type
that.. was my fear too.. that he didnt fit the "characteristics" of a older- mento/ leader..that cap is...but this is a test of chris's acting skill..lets c the movie first before we condem chris..he does have great potential as an actor..
My issue remains the same as my first thoughts with this, and that is Marvel should not be recycling actors especially when their are perfect alternates they could easily get to play the roles. My issue remains the same as my first thoughts with this, and that is Marvel should not be recycling actors especially when their are perfect alternates they could easily get to play the roles. In this case Mark Valley would make a perfect Cap but its more than just the recycling, I personally like the Fantastic Four movies and love the portrayal of Johnny Storm in them so far I do think their is issues with them that need ironing out but none of those issues are casting. One of the biggest issues for me is I would of loved to see Chris Evans in some cross overs particularly the new Spiderman even XMen but most definately some guest appearances and instead they decide to scrap a perfectly good franchise to start over again. Im all for starting over when its neccessary Spiderman I wasnt a great fan of, they focused to much on the love story arc for my tastes and not enough on Spidey vs Villains but that wasnt the case with F4 the only reason thats gettin scrapped is because they have given into reviews from critics who prolly dont care or know comic books. Im sure Chris will do a great job with this (im far more worried about Thor to be honest) but they have made a major error in removing his Johnny Storm from the universe as im positive whoever they recast as him will pale in comparison.
