It's been over a decade since the last entry in the "Marvel vs. Capcom" series and more than six months since we first revealed the game’s existence, but we edge ever closer to MvC3’s release date. When might that release date be, you ask? Wonder no more, True Believers! "Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds" will arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on February 15, 2011!
Not content with getting your hands on the standard edition of what may very well be greatest fighting game of all time? Fans with the extra cash can grab the MvC3 special edition, priced at $69.99. This deluxe version comes with a Steelbook featuring four pieces of art, a 48-page comic and art book, a one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited and two new DLC characters--Marvel’s own demonic Shuma-Gorath and Capcom’s "Resident Evil" star Jill Valentine (note: the DLC characters will be available four weeks after launch).
Also joining Shuma-Gorath and Jill Valentine on the dynamic roster are Marvel’s verdant vixen She-Hulk and Capcom’s Zero of "Mega Man" fame. Both Shulkie and Zero will be available at launch as part of the full MvC3 roster! Check out the two character spotlight videos and 16 images below to see much more from these mighty warriors.

Pre-orders for the game are now being accepted at Amazon.com and GameStop. Those who pre-order at GameStop will receive exclusive 5x7-inch vinyl console decals, featuring Wolverine, Ryu and Deadpool & Dante--which are reusable and include character descriptions and move-lists on the back of each card.
Introducing a whole new generation to the popular fighting game series, "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" pits Marvel’s iconic heroes and villains and Capcom’s beloved video game characters against each other in rapid-fire, no-holds-barred battles. Backed by an advanced version of the MT Framework--the same engine used for "Resident Evil 5" and "Lost Planet 2"--"Marvel vs. Capcom 3" includes new eye-popping graphics, lush backgrounds and detailed character animations, an evolved combat system, three-on-three tag-team fighting, a "Simple Mode" control scheme for novice players and a "moving comic" art style that blends 2D and 3D graphics fitting for a comic book-based title.

For more details, check out the official "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" website at http://www.marvelvscapcom3.com/ and stay glued to Marvel.com for more updates and information as we get closer to MvC3's release on February 15, 2011.

See, as great as She-Hulk can be, i would have really liked to see Emma Frost in stead. I mean X-23 is great, but we have Wolverine. She-Hulk is great, but we have Hulk. Maybe the process of doing all the special effects are too costly and time consuming... But anyways, still a great character.
