What we need to keep in mind is that these are "what they fear" and "worse case scenarios".  Of course Hulk would be afraid of what would happen if no one could stop him.  Do I think that the Avengers with Thor could stop him? Yes, and they would also have Steve Rogers there to strategize.  I was not ok with how World War Hulk played out and all the heroes got their **** kicked, but we have to keep in mind where they were then and where they are now.  They are united and more organized.  Still it's a good picture, very evocative.  As a Thor fan I was at first mad, but how else would you show the severity of a situation if you didn't show one of Marvel's heavy hitters down?

I don´t think there is any "proof" in what you´re telling. Just another bravado of a fanboy. I respect that but I don´t think that your arguments are solid enough. When Hulk "defeated" Sentry (and again I will add that it wasn´t a clear defeat) the sentry also wanted to be stopped. He told Hulk to stop him so we can think that he wasn´t using all his powers to let him do it. It´s just another point of view of the "proof" that you´re presenting here. And, as for Thor not battling Hulk in...let me remember...oh yeah, a HULK COMIC BOOK it was just because the writer didn´t wanted or just forgot it. I don´t think that this is another "proof". It´s just a ridiculous argument.

You are all forgetting what Hulk is actually capable of, and yes he can and has beat Thor! If you look at Thor's battle with Sentry during Siege, and Hulk's battle against Sentry during World War Hulk, you can see that there is more than enough proof that Hulk is more powerful.During his fight with Sentry, before becoming the Void, Thor hit him with his best shots and it didn't even harm Sentry, where as when Hulk smashed Sentry in the face he drew blood. By the way, Sentry has always been possessed by The Void, and he was just as powerful during Siege as he was in World War Hulk!If you need more proof, then lets examine the battles. Sentry fully let go against Hulk... meaning unleashing the full power of a million exploding stars! Now, in the battle with Thor, Sentry did not even release any of that immense power because if he would have, all of the heroes & villains would have been utterly destroyed!And for all you Thor fans, I hate to admit it, but the only reason The Void/The Sentry was defeated by Thor and the rest of the Marvel heroes was because he let himself be killed, and it was not the might of Thor like most people think. It was a team effort.Anothing thing, if Thor is so powerful, then why was he unable to do anything to stop Hulk when he went World Breaker in Incredible Hulk #611? He was there, and you know why he couldn't? Because World Breaker Hulk would have smashed him like a bug! That was why only Skaar was powerful enough to battle his father in that state of immense power!If you want more proof, the Mindless/Banner-less Hulk would have killed Thor, if Dr. Strange didn't banish him to save his life and the rest of the heroes who fought against him! Like it or not, Hulk is the strongest one there is. I'm a big Thor fan myself, but I know when it comes down to it, Green Scar/Green King Hulk would beat Thor and anyone else to a bloody pulp. It's just hard facts.

I think that all is a matter of who´s telling the story. Hulk beating Thor? Sure it can happen, specially if Hulk uses all his power and Thor is somehow limited trying not to kill the man inside the monster. Thor beating Hulk? Also can happen, if Thor uses all his godly powers with no moral limitations. And I´ll add that using The Sentry as a measure of the power of both Thor and Hulk is nonsense. The Sentry that was "defeated" by the Hulk was not possesed by the Void for he wasn´t as powerful as he could be. Besides, I don´t think that Hulk defeated him. I think that both spended all their powers reverting to the forms of Reynolds and Banner. So we could call it "a tie".
