Attention anime and Marvel fans alike, do you want a little taste of the "X-Men" and "Blade" anime series?
Just for you, we've got your first look at the logos for both series currently being animated by renowned Japanese animation studio Madhouse!
Both series will hit the United States next year when they come to G4--along with "Iron Man" and "Wolverine"--but until then stay tuned to Marvel.com for all the latest on the series!
"X-Men"
The X-Men are reunited following the death of a teammate, and are summoned by Charles Xavier to Japan following the abduction of Hisako Ichiki (Armor). There, they confront the U-Men, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on.
"Blade"
Eric Brooks--known as Blade--seeks revenge on Deacon Frost, the vampire lord who killed his mother while she was still pregnant with Eric. With all the powers of a vampire with none of their weaknesses, Blade's quest for vengeance leads him throughout Southeast Asia in search of Frost, where, in Vietnam, he discovers a vampire plot that threatens to take down the whole world.
The new series will be produced by Madhouse for Marvel Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Television, Inc, and will make their exclusive U.S. TV Premiere on G4 in 2011.

Actually, I agree with HELL-FROST here. I like Human-face Beast way more than feline-face, and I can't say I am a big fan of anime or of the idea of putting X-Men in that style. "Beauty that is the anime world"? Not too keen on how an art style that has a habit of objectifying women is so beautiful, besides which outside of all moral concerns, the art style has a habit of being terribly unrealistic. It's fine for someone to enjoy the art style, I just don't personally; I'd rather have the detail-quality anime sometimes uses, coupled with the more realistic art style that certain American animation uses. They can have Blade, I don't care about him, but they better not ruin X-Men.

@ Hell-Frost is really too bad you can't appreciated the beauty that is the anime world
thats great Im for new ideas especially on anime. get to check out new view points and different stories, love the blade team ups ib posted i think thats cool idea.
N please don't use the stupid lion-faced Beast. He's supposed to be a Simian-based mutation so he can't be feline. N it's stupid looking.
NOoo! don't ruin X-Men with anime crap!!!Why don't they just do stuff right for once?Like the Avengers EMH. It's not perfect but its close to original stories. Except they have Wonder Man on the wrong side. Which sucks cuz he was great in his red jungle jacket days.
