Iron Man may just have a little extra gold to go with his suit the next time you see him.
The Academy Awards announced their nominees this morning, and among them sits “Iron Man 2” for “Achievement in special effects.” Nominated are Plate/2nd Unit Director Janek Sirrs, ILM Visual Effects Supervisor Ben Snow, Visual Effects Supervisor Ged Wright and Special Effects Supervisor Daniel Sudick.
And congratulations to our very own Jane Foster, Natalie Portman, for her Best Actress nomination, as well as to future Avengers Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner for their recognition in the Best Supporting Actor category.
