Columbia Pictures announced today that the title of the next Spider-Man film will be "The Amazing Spider-Man."
The studio simultaneously released a photo of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, the first shot of Garfield in the famous full mask and suit.
The film, which is now in production and is being shot entirely in 3D, will be released on July 3, 2012. The film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are producing the Marvel Entertainment production for Columbia Pictures. The executive producers are Stan Lee, Kevin Feige, and Michael Grillo. not enough action in the last 3 movies , but the first one was still good. the story needs to be dark in the new movie, thought the others were to soft. mary jane wattson sucked in the last 3. thank god they are using gwen stacey because kristen dunst can not act.
Im glad they are making a new movie , the costume is different , he has web shooters maybe a spider utility belt, I dont think emma stone has the qwen stacey look however. Oh i also dont think i like that he gets bit by the spider in his own attic.

I like the idea of organic web, web shooter fluid seems kind of artificial. And spider also have the night vision and super hearing. It would be cool if spider-man have these abilities too.

for all of you who are asking about the webs that came out of his wrists in the last 3 movies...in the comics spiderman, after he was bitten by the spider had wall crawling, spider sense and agility with spider strength but he made the cartridges that were filled with web fluid. in the comics he was really smart so he built it on his own, spiderman fans like me were pissed that it came out of his wrist in the movies, cuz thats just nasty. they mest with the story alot in the last movies...heres hoping that they do it right this time
