As Story Editor for "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes!," Christopher Yost helped oversee every episode in the show's first season, which comes to its conclusion this Sunday.
To celebrate the special 90-minute event on Sunday, Yost looked back at the series thus far to pick his five favorite moments from "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes!" Season One, and we've got them.

When it happened: Season 1, Episode 10: "Everything is Wonderful"
"Not only are Wasp and Thor an awesome/unlikely team, but both of them meet M.O.D.O.C. for the first time and their reactions are pretty fun," comments Yost. "Thor, already wary of science, sees something so freakish that he just can't deal with it. And Wasp's quips are mightier than her stings."

When it happened: Season 1, Episode 13: "Gamma World Part Two"
"A globe of Gamma energy is growing over North America, turning millions of people into Gamma monsters, all thanks to the Leader," recalls Yost. "And the only people that can save the day? Hawkeye, Thor...and the Hulk. The three save the Avengers, save the world, deliver an epic beat down to the Abomination, Absorbing Man and the Leader, and the always underestimated Hulk delivers some hard truths to Samuel Sterns."

When it happened: Season 1, Episode 21: "Hail, HYDRA!"
"Baron Strucker is moments away from touching the Cosmic Cube, which will change all reality and giving HYDRA dominion over the Earth," says Yost. "And over a mile away, Hawkeye aims an arrow--with Ant-Man clinging to the tip of it. There's nothing better than the least likely members of the team saving the day."

When it happened: Season 1, Episode 25: "The Fall of Asgard"
"Thor captured. Giant-Man and Wasp in battle against actual giants. Hawkeye in the realm of the Elves. Iron Man in the dwarf caverns of Nidavellir. Captain America in Hel. Black Panther in the dead lands of the Dark Elves. Hulk against an army of Ogres. Everyone out of their element, hopelessly outnumbered or out-powered. Things at their darkest. Come on, that's good stuff."

When it happened: Season 1, Episode 23: "The Ultron Imperative"
"Ultron does not mess around," adds Yost. "If he wants the end of all life on Earth, he's going to make it happen in the most cold, calculating and efficient way possible: Full on nuclear annihilation. The biggest, most tense moment of the series, in my opinion. The ultimate ticking clock. The last minute (literally) save...and a chance to throw in one of the greatest lines in all of comics from Kurt Busiek."
