Yesterday's New York Fight Club presented by Capcom was dark, packed and full of knockouts- exactly what a fight club should feel like. The event was held in a large gallery space in the middle of the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan with game stations and flat screen televisions lining the perimeter of the room. Fans also had the chance to take photos with cosplayers and jam to some prime beats provided by a DJ. The scene outside was equally impressive as fans lined from the door, down 21st Street, around the corner and back up for a chance to play against the best of New York City.
Those intrepid enough to elbow their way to the game consoles had a chance to play the latest global builds of "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3," "Street Fighter x Tekken" and" Street Fighter Third Strike." Marvel fans were especially excited to play as Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider and Hawkeye; the newly announced Marvel characters joining Ulimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. It was epic, and players were serious.
