After seeing him tackle the artwork on the recent Williams-Sonoma exclusive SPIDER-MAN AND THE AVENGERS comic that raises awareness for the Share Our Strength organization, we just had to ask Todd Nauck about his favorite Avengers.
No stranger to the world of Marvel as recently seen in the pages of IRON AGE #3, Nauck jumped at the chance to list his five favorite among the ranks of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and share his thought process by way of a brief history.
“I started reading Avengers comics as a child of the 80’s,” Nauck says. “So my top five kind of reflects that.”
5. Iron Man
“I'm talking the Bob Layton era armor, the coolest, most classic armor as far I am concerned.”
4. Hercules
“Yea, verily! He's in it for the sport!”
3. She-
“She's the heavyweight powerhouse that brings a light-hearted touch to the adventure.”

“Synthezoids are awesome!”
1. Captain America
“Steve Rogers is an awesome leader. The selfless kind of guy who puts himself on the line and doesn't ask anything of his team he wouldn't do himself.”
