UNCANNY X-MEN #47

After the dissolution of the X-Men, two of the team’s most eligible bachelors, Hank McCoy and Bobby Drake—Beast and Iceman respectively—hit the town to wash away their woes. Unfortunately for the dashing duo and their dates, the nefarious Maha Yogi, better known as the wizarding Warlock, threatens to enthrall the innocent citizens of Westchester and break them to his will. Will Hank and Bobby expose the nefarious villain’s wicked parlor trick plot or will Maha Yogi’s magic put a permanent end to the marvelous mutants’ evening?

UNCANNY X-MEN #173

Wolverine and Rogue take Tokyo by storm, a whirlwind of adamantium claws and Southern charm. Viper and the Silver Samurai poisoned the X-Men in an attempt to usurp control of the Yashida criminal empire, and now Logan must find a cure before the team finds themselves pushing up daisies instead of attending his wedding. If that means the unlikely duo need to bash and slash their way through an army of yakuza thugs and deadly ninja so be it!

KITTY PRYDE AND WOVERINE #1

After a freak series of events, Kitty Pryde, the youngest student at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, finds herself wandering the frighteningly foreign streets of Japan. She’s been shot at, rained on, and chased by the police. She just wants to go home, but the hero inside needs to protect her father from his unsavory business partners. Kitty will need some help if she wants to take down the top dogs in Tokyo, so she makes a collect call to Westchester and thus begins one of the greatest team-ups in X-Men history!

NEW X-MEN #135

What happens when good kids go bad? Well if you throw in the mutant power enhancer Kick and give it to Quentin Quire and his band of mutant misfits you’ve got Kid Omega and a riot on your hands. Omega and his gang aim to avenge all the mutants killed by humans, starting by killing the new homo sapien students rolling up to the Xavier Institute for opening day. Will Wolverine and the rest of the faculty quell Quentin’s riot and the raging student body before the new kids and their parents show up?

WOLVERINE (2003) #25

HYDRA has brainwashed the world’s most dangerous mutant and transformed him into their own personal assassin. Wolverine’s left a swath of eviscerated bodies in his wake and now he’s aiming for the President of the United States. With Washington locked down and Captain America leading the guard, Logan heads to Xavier’s to tap into the brain draining power of Cerebra. Luckily for the Commander in Chief, the X-Men know he’s coming and they’ve rolled out the optic blast welcome wagon. Do the Children of the Atom have what it takes to bring down one of their own?
