Season X of Sapien Death Match launched last night in Chicago with reigning champ and fan fave Tony Stark racking up another win, mangling MBC Productions' latest robo terror and pulverizing three challengers in the final round of one-on-one combat.

Fifteen armored gladiators entered the arena for the evening's first round of action. Within two minutes, the field had narrowed to seven. Clark, Benson, and Chang detonated land mines the instant they touched ground. At least they can tell the grandkids they set foot onto the arena of champions--just barely! Mendoza and Grierson succumbed to the usual volley of heat seeking missiles while Takahashi and Ellison had the unfortunate luck to be standing behind Heavy-S when his suit's pulse cannon backfired.
