Joe "Crusher" Hogan remembers the night the skinny teenage boy hobbled into the Madison Square Garden wrestling ring. "He weighed about 10 pounds, and he was so uncoordinated I thought he'd trip over the ropes. Then there was his get-up; he had, like, a fishnet stocking on his face. The crowd laughed like crazy, and I couldn't help it, I laughed too. But I always felt bad about the whole 'Beat Crusher and win $300' contest. This kid especially, he looked like he really needed money, but all he'd get by wrestling me was a hospital bed."
