Iron Man Blasts Box Office Rivals

The armored Avenger handily defeats his weekend competitors

"Iron Man" rules! The armored Avenger just completed his second weekend win at the box office and fans the world over can't seem to get enough of him! Domestically, "Iron Man" took in over $50 million from Friday to Sunday to easily remain the number one movie in the country! The film has now earned more than $177 million since its release! Couple that with ol' Shellhead's $165 million global receipts and we're talking $342 million in worldwide tickets! Even Tony Stark might have some trouble counting that high! Remember, MTV has nominated "Iron Man" for "Best Summer Movie So Far" in their 2008 MTV Movie Awards. YOU decide the winner so vote now (and often) for "Iron Man" at MTV.com.
