Marvel Soars With 11 Eagle Awards
Matt Fraction, Captain America and Marvel.com among big winners

The prestigious Eagle Awards—voted on for and by the fans for over 30 years—for achievement in comics were given out on Saturday, May 10 at the Bristol International Comic Expo in Bristol, England and Marvel is pleased to acknowledge 11 winners from the House of Ideas:
Favourite Newcomer Writer—Matt Fraction (IMMORTAL IRON FIST, THE ORDER, PUNISHER WAR JOURNAL)
Favourite Newcomer Artist—David Aja (IMMORTAL IRON FIST)
Favourite Comics Writer/Artist—Alan Davis (FANTASTIC FOUR: THE END)
Favourite Comics Artist: Pencils—Frank Cho (MIGHTY AVENGERS)
Favourite Colorist—Laura Martin (ASTONISHING X-MEN)
Favourite Black and White Comicbook – British—SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN
Favourite New Comicbook—THOR
Favourite Comics Story published during 2007—CAPTAIN AMERICA #25-30: "The Death of Captain America"
Favourite Comics Cover published during 2007—WORLD WAR HULK #1 by David Finch
