After their run in with the White Queen, the X-Men decide to investigate and find out the truth behind a small super-secret organization called the Hellfire Club! However, the mission might be more than they can handle when Jason Wyngarde—a.k.a. Mastermind—takes control of Jean Grey and makes her believe she's the Club's evil Black Queen!
Can Mastermind really manage someone who has wielded the awesome power of the Phoenix Force? And as Jean Grey falls deeper and deeper into Mastermind's illusion, the damage to her psyche may be permanent. This may spell the end for Jean Grey, the X-Men
