Scoops and Scoops Galore at Philly Con!
Marvel invaded the Philadelphia Comic Con this weekend, making major announcements despite gorging on cheesesteaks for the three-day comic-fest.
The fans flowed, and the excitement about Marvel buzz was hard-to-miss:
- Starting in time for the Daywalker's own TV series, Marc Guggenheim will be at the helm of a new ongoing Blade book.
- Stan "the Man" Lee returns with 5, count 'em FIVE, one-shots
- Marvel 1602: Fantastik Four—the Universe of yesteryear returns as Peter David and Pascal Alixe bring you Marvel's first family
- Greg Pak and Tyler Kirkham let the phoenix rise in X-Men : Phoenix – Warsong
- Ed McGuiness is exclusive to Marvel, and partnered up Jeph Loeb on a Top Secret project
- Jeff Parker and Roger Cruz upgrade our favorite first mutants on X-Men: First Class
The announcements that came out of the Philly Con were nearly as big and juicy as the cheesesteaks our staff devoured all weekend long. Get a little taste of what's coming with a peak at two covers for new books by our rising star Marko Djurdjevic.
