Nextwave

Do you love Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.? Did you color on all the wrong things when you were a kid? Want to mix both together and add a pinch of Marvel.com and ComicBookResources.com? Yeah? Good, because we have the Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E. Crayon Butchery Variant Contest! Want to enter? That's great that you do—we've extended the entry date to July 7th. Let's recap what's going on for those of you who have been living under a rock. The Nextwave #5 Crayon Butchery Variant was released on 5/24. The variant contained the exact same Stuart Immonen and Wade von Grawbadger art as the regular version, but sans coloring. After going to pick it up from your local comic book store you are supposed to cherish it forever—or at least the six seconds until you carefully (insanely) color one page in without eating your crayons. Lastly all you have to do is submit the page via e-mail or snail mail to the glorious folks at ComicBookResources.com. If you are smart enough to submit your entry you will be in the running for a boatload of marvelous prizes. One grand prize winner will be receiving an original piece of art from Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E. by Stuart Immonen and Wade von Grawbadger along with having their entry published in the letters page of Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E. #7. The three runners up will be receiving a page of Nextwave # 5 Crayon Butchery Variant hand-colored by Stuart Immonen, Wade von Grawbadger and Dave McCaig (artist for each piece chosen at random). And last, but certainly not least, the top ten entries will be presented as digital comics on Marvel.com. For more information check out http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=7380
