''Iron Man'' and ''Tropic Thunder'' performances cement top spot

Add Entertainment Weekly's "Entertainer of the Year" to Robert Downey Jr.'s remarkable 2008 accomplishments. Downey, star of Marvel's summer blockbuster "Iron Man," topped the likes of Tina Fey, Michael Phelps, The Jonas Brothers, Facebook, "Mad Men's" Jon Hamm, Coldplay, Wall-E, Meryl Streep, Stephenie Meyer, the cast and crew of "The Dark Knight," and so many more! "The Iron Man pulls off the greatest comeback in years," the magazine writes. You can read the article here. Downey will be reprising his role as Tony Stark for 2010's "Iron Man 2" and he'll also don the gold and red armor for 2011's "The Avengers."
