Wolverine to Host the 2009 Academy Awards
Prepare for a whole 'nother shade of red to flow across the red carpet next year!
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today announced that Hugh Jackman, star of next summer's blockbuster "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," movie will host the 81st annual Academy Awards® on February 22.
The Australian-born actor, who has portrayed Marvel's very own Wolverine in all three "X-Men" films, will reprise the role in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
So with the Canucklehead hosting the show, who knows what will go down. Here's hoping he doesn't go into a berserker rage in the middle of the ceremony, natch!
