With both an upcoming feature film and animated series revolving around Wolverine, this week's Digital Comics Spotlight shines on one of Marvel's most beloved characters and his first-ever mission with the team of mutants in GIANT-SIZE X-MEN #1.
Written and edited by Len Wein and illustrated by Dave Cockrum, the issue features Professor Xavier in a desperate situation: a mission to the island of Krakoa goes horribly awry when the X-Men are captured, resulting in a global search to find a new group of heroes to rescue the original lineup.
Wolverine's appearance in GIANT-SIZE X-MEN #1 makes an impact right away as he tames giant lobsters, scrutinizes his teammates and undermines the Canadian government!
