...Ms. Marvel (Danvers) needed not die for this storyline to come of it, in fact, I bet this would hurt sales more than help. I can understand the overall theme of hijacking heroes' titles, but the Carol/Carla switch could've been done way better. We already have Norman overshadowing everything, why couldn't he have showed up at the end of Carol's last battle and spirited her away to secret confinement? The MU and general populace would think she was dead, or not, depending on how the Carla 'promotion' was meant to go (is the gen pop to think her a new Ms. Marvel, or the same one? They're both blond, busty and masked, and until the clear difference in powers gets displayed, they both fly and release blasts. Who's to know if it's not meant to be known... well, besides the closer heroes?)In the case of Hawkeye/Bullseye, the switch was handled with logic. Clint isn't using the identity, Bullseye has similar skill, and a great side effect comes of it: Clint gets irked, but can only do so much against an Osborne plot. (Which reminds me, the use of the Ronin identity was for complete anonymity, so will this result in Clint retaking the title, taking even another so the actual (female) Hawkeye doesn't get shafted, or are we to no longer care about the theme of the Ronin suit and that he was wearing it maskless on TV? It may also be time for us to get a new Ronin). I'm not convinced Carol is dead either, and the strange execution of the event I hope was not even supposed to be convincing. The problem is though, that it might actually be believed that they'd have to do some elaborate Ms. Marvel rebirth, but I think all we need is for her to be found drifting in space, wake up with (maybe oft hinted) Binary powers as a result of the self-detonation, and a swoop down to battle Carla in the upcoming War of the Marvels (knowing them, they'd bring in Ultragirl, another reality Ms. Marvel, or another substitute to keep off returning Carol even longer, for what reason I don't know).

I dont mind that they are making the bad guys mess with the good guys reputation that is something villians are supposed to do. I dont mind that they are making the bad guys mess with the good guys reputation that is something villians are supposed to do. The problem i have is that they Killed off one of the really good women superheroes that can hold a title rather well. Carol Danvers as Miss Marvel has so much potential that she never reached in the comic or in main stream pop culture. I at one time believed that if Marvel Marketed her good enough that she could be on peoples tongues like Wonder Woman. Thats the kind of potential that this character has. We have all seen what has happened when the mantle of Wonder Woman was taken away. It was given back to Diana and her popularity came back. My problem is that they didn't have to kill Carol Danvers if what ever his name writer wanted to change things maybe they should of given him a comic called dark ms marvel or something. Just to put it simple i have bought and read Ms. Marvel since issue one and was one of my favorite comics. It ranked 3rd or 4th with She-Hulk. She-Hulk was canclled which made me kinda sad but killing Carol off angers me somewhat i am tired of Characters that i like getting killed off or stories changed for the worst. As i said earlier I have read this Ms. Marvel from issue 1 but as of now issue 37 is the last issue of Ms. Marvel that i will pay for or read. Peace I'm out ..... and one more thing I am a very big fan of Hulk and that has been ruined, i like the idea of red hulk but the writing is erratic and it just sucks, each month it gets worse. The end of my rant for the year

no point to be furious about it, we all know it will not last, it's just story material, to show the name of "miss marvel"drag into the mud and then have carol to fight back to regain the name and respect attach to it...it's actually a good storyline...
I HATE IT!!! HOW ARE U GUYS GONNA TAKE MS.MARVEL OUT THE GAME??? PUT THEY PUT A TWO-FACED BIMBO AS HER??? SHE DONT EVEN HAVE THE POWER!!!!! I HATE IT MS.MARVEL IS A HERO FOR EVERYONE THEN THIS STUPID STORYLINE COMES ALONG AND YALL AFFECTING MS.MARVEL???? THESE PPL ARE SMOKING SOMETHING!!!! IM UPSET!
I for one am NOT convinced that Carol is dead. Look it up people: Marvel resurrected Captain America 6 TIMES BEFORE the end of Civil War, TWICE in Secret Wars alone. It's practically a trademark of Marvel to resurrect dead characters. Ms. Marvel will be back.As for Bullseye and Moonstone replacing Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel, I think it's great!
