Iron Man Nominated For Two Oscars

The nominations for the 81st Annual Academy Awards® were announced today and Marvel's 2008 blockbuster movie "Iron Man" nabbed not one, but two nominations! Shellhead's theatrical debut is up for Best Sound Editing and Best Visual Effects. Released in US theaters this past May, "Iron Man," directed by Jon Favreau, has grossed over $580 million worldwide. Its sequel, "Iron Man II," is set for US box office release May 2, 2010. In addition, "Iron Man" star Robert Downey Jr. earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his uproarious performance as method actor Kirk Lazarus in "Tropic Thunder."
