Characters In This Story
I understand that there is a pressure to make a GREAT movie here, but in my own opinion this movie does not need this many extra characters. Also when Wolverine became Weapon X most of the characters that star with him were mere children. Can we get this chronological. I haven't seen the movie yet (I will within days of this reply) but I'm not as excited to see this film. I hope that in marvels...

Reading a few back pages of the Deadpool Appreciation thread will give you the low down on all things movie Merc that we've uncovered.USA Today had a bit of info posted with the new photos (posted a bit before Marvel did, and Marvel didn't post the info). About Deadpool, they said that he has some high-tech gadgetry such as a holographic image inducer and a teleportation device. Mimic might be the guy with the lasers and multiple powers.It doesn't make sense.But again neither does having Cyclops, emma, blob and gambit in a WOLVERINE ORIGINS movie.There are a bunch of other things in the movie trailer that makes no sense.

The movie is solid for the most part, except how they ruined deadpool. Downfall is deadpool is the favorite villain/neutral character for a TON of us internet nerds. I am dissapointed, Ryan Reynolds is as perfect for deadpool as Hugh Jackman is for wolverine.They basically made deadpool into a baraka (mortal combat) look-a-like, and juiced him up even though he has been plenty capable of giving wolverine a run for his money on his own.:08cbcf21cd="johnnysword"]No, the guy with no mouth is not Deadpool. Deadpool is Ryan Reynolds. He doesn't even wear red pants in the movie, just a red shirt.It's Omega Red. Note that when he's spinning in the air he has tentacles and he whips Wolverine over the back with them. If it's not directly Omega Red, it's a variation of him for the movie called Weapon XI. If so, that means the character in the movie either has the ability to absorb other mutant's powers (similar to Omega Red's energy absorption) OR the Weapon X program is trying to build a weapon with the combined power of many mutants.
