Marvel Nominated For 10 Saturn Awards
Nominations for the 35th Saturn Awards are in and the sci-fi gods have smiled kindly upon our beloved Shellhead and Green Goliath .
"Iron Man" and "The Incredible Hulk" will be going head-to-head in a battle for Best Science Fiction Film! Plus, the cast of "Iron Man" received sweeping nominations in the categories of Best Actor (Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man/Tony Stark), Best Actress (Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts) and Best Supporting Actor (Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane).
Jon Favreau snagged a Best Director nod and "Iron Man's" screenwriting team of Mark Fergus, Hawk Ostby, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway were nominated for Best Writing. Other "Iron Man" nominations include Best Music (Hans Zimmer) and Best Special Effects (John Nelson, Ben Snow, Dan Sudick, Shane Mahan).
Finally, to cap off the Marvel lovefest, "The Incredible Hulk: The Complete Series" was nominated for the Best Television Series Release on DVD.
