Eventually, even gods must die.
As the Avengers disassemble, their mightiest member, Thor, faces his own darkest hour when the Ragnarok cycle once again threatens to consume his home, Asgard, and all he holds dear. With Odin dead, it falls on the God of Thunder to lead his people against their pre-ordained apocalypse.
In his efforts to overcome the seemngly inevitable, Thor calls on his staunchest mortal allies, Captain America and Iron Man, as well as his brother-in-arms, Beta Ray Bill. But when even that assemblage of power proves inadequate, the lord of the lightning must turn to his hated half-brother Loki, who may hold the answers he needs. What Thor learns about Ragnarok's true nature will shock him and have consequences still affecting Asgard today.
