WEAPON X #14

"Hands down my favorite issue of [WEAPON X]—and one of my favorite things I've ever written, incidentally—was the 'Sinister's List' [story from issue #14]. I just think everything clicked: John Paul Leon on art, Scalphunter's previously unseen origin, the Sub-Mariner and Captain America bits...really, I have no complaints at all on how that [issue] turned out. "And more than anything, that issue demonstrates how I've always seen Sinister's role in the Marvel U: as comics' answer to Dr Mengele. He's not a villain who's worried about anything as clichéd as world domination—everything he does is in the name and pursuit of science. So, to that end, we had him insinuate himself into Nazi society in order to take advantage of the opportunities presented to him by the Holocaust. Because as horrible and inhuman as it sounds, it's precisely what the character would've done." Read WEAPON X #14 right now on Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited.
