I can understand with X-men you had some much to work with. Where do you start, how do you get the kids involved. How do you stick to the comic and have it relate to the cartoon that the kids know. I can understand with X-men you had some much to work with. Where do you start, how do you get the kids involved. How do you stick to the comic and have it relate to the cartoon that the kids know. But When it comes to the Wolverine: Origins comic you don't have that problem. #1 Its not the entire Wolverine comics, you have compact it to the Origins. #2 its only 6 comics and they explain soo much on their own. #3 Wolverine by himself is an electrafying character with villians throughout his life. There is no need to compact the movie, there is no reason to blend the facts. You don't even have to add characters in it, there are already enough characters to keep you attention without placing some in that never were there, don't need to be there or mixing and matching who are already there. Of all the comic characters, Wolverine has the biggest following, to think that those fan would accept this movie as it is and forget what we already know of his past. I think it is disrespectful to the comic and us fan for what they did. I feel sorry for those fans that couldn't get their hand on the original Origins comics. How long are we gonna let this go before we stop watching and stop supporting this bullshit with our money. I had the skunk bear face from them moment they told wolverine that he killed his father, till the moment I saw Professor X walking to the aid of the children. Are you serious. I would rather watch blankman, kazaam, the incredibles or some other movie with not comic background, than to watch this or another comic movie destroyed by FOX. I see they had no problem getting Harry Potter right.

:806080283e="nynjsoldierboy"] The actors did a good job. I have no beef with Hugh, Ryan, Liev, etc. They did what was asked of them. My problem is with the studio. At this point I just think the best thing to hope for would be for Marvel to get the rights back to these characters and pull a "Batman Begins". [/quote:806080283e]Agree - actors did a great job. Cool to see them at the premeire. Anyone know who the red head cutie is in the videos interviewing them? Also agree - the "Batman Begins" treatment worked for "Star Trek", so maybe that's the way to go.

:dead: amen dude,, people wanted to see deadpool's premiere, not his demise, movie people need to be well informed and not wing it like they just did
:1e0c0c9de3="SeanBurns"]:1e0c0c9de3="nynjsoldierboy"]Wow. Sooooo just curious, when are Marvel getting the rights back to these characters from Fox? It's obvious that Fox has ZERO respect for the fans in general. Their last few movies have been off, but WOW!!!. Um, spoiler alert, but since when did the "Merc with the mouth" not have a mouth? It's obvious that Fox has ZERO respect for the fans in general. Their last few movies have been off, but WOW!!!. Um, spoiler alert, but since when did the "Merc with the mouth" not have a mouth? Oh and I loved his adamantium skeleton. So accurate to the source material. I'm sure thats EXACTLY what Rob Leifield and Fabian Nicieza had in mind but they just never got around to it. This is an atrocity and it has to stop and stop now. You guys have your money. "Iron Man" and "Incredible Hulk" were fantastic. Why cant Marvel get the rights to these characters back? It needs to happen. OOOOOOH and you know what else was great? How Hollywood decided that it would be better to make one of their most inriguing villains (William Stryker. REVEREND William Stryker) into some military guy. This is embassing. As a lifelong fan, I pledge to boycott any further Fox/Marvel films until Fox gives the rights back to Marvel. I urge you all to join me. This is a time to take a long look in the mirror. Do you have the integrity to stop disrespecting the wonderful comic creators that gave these characters life or is simply all about the money? In conclusion, I would just like to add that I love the Marvel universe. The universe where Emma Frost is a blueblood from Massachusets, and William Stryker is a Mutant Hating Preacher. The universe where Venom, and Doc Ock are very much alive. The universe where Doctor Doom is a power hungry tyrant from Latveria and hoes NOT have metal skin. THAT UNIVERSE. And ESPECIALLY the universe where Deadpool is the Merc with the mouth who is absolutely nuts and hilarious. What was it that we used to say at the end of Stan's Soapbox? Make Mine Marvel? Well, that is all I as well as many many fans are asking. Make Mine Marvel. DON'T make mine FOX.[/quote:1e0c0c9de3]I agree 100%. This movie was a joke. I almost left the theater once Deadpool shot lasers out of his eyes. I was seriously hoping that after they screwed up spiderman 3 that they would actually start writing legitimate scrips... but noooo they have to go and ruin a movie that could have been great.[/quote:1e0c0c9de3]I can see the appeal to the non comic reader or even the moderate "Barnes and Noble" comic reader. However, I just felt like it spit in the face of the great writers and artists that brought these characters to print and developed them into the icons that they are. The actors did a good job. I have no beef with Hugh, Ryan, Liev, etc. They did what was asked of them. My problem is with the studio. At this point I just think the best thing to hope for would be for Marvel to get the rights back to these characters and pull a "Batman Begins". "Iron Man" and "The Incredible Hulk" showed that you can adapt one of these stories for the big screen and still be respectful to the source material. Of course they would have to change a few things to make the movie work, but they NEVER changed a character. The whole Tony Stark in Afghanistan thing made sense to me even though he was injured in Vietnam in the comics. It was modernizing the character in a way where Tony Stark was STILL Tony Stark. Something like that HAS to be changed unless you want to see a 65 year old Iron Man. However, Deadpool being changed into Weapon XI with laser eyes and teleporting and no mouth was just straight up disrespectful. As far as Emma Frost and William Stryker go, I really don't need to say much more. For everyone who is posting comments on here listen up. If you thought this was a great movie then it's fairly obvious you havent been a comic reader very long or only read occasionally. We as readers need to stand up and say NO MORE FOX Marvel movies. All these people care about is money. They will justify that the movie was good by saying how well it did at the box office. and OF COURSE it did well at the box office. Sure, fanboys will go to see it but really most of the people going have never or scarecely read comics. My 53 year old Aunt went to see it. Nuff Said.

honestly the movie did x-men no justice and gavin hood should be fired. Bring Brett ratner back to direct because wolverine looked to fake throughout the whole movie. they have to do a rewrite because what happened to deadpool was just plain b.s. The actors made the movie not the script
