Based on Upper Deck Entertainment's best-selling Vs. System Trading Card Game, Marvel Trading Card Game puts Marvel's complete stable of characters at your fingertips as you assemble your deck and square off against superheroes and supervillains in the game's story mode, or go online in cross-platform play to take on other players from around the country.
Eager gamers have three platforms to choose from: PSP, DS and PC. Regardless of which system you use, you'll have access to every character found in traditional card-based Vs. games. Hulk? You got him. Spider-Man? Of course. Frog Man? Heck yes!
Whether you're a veteran Vs. player or are picking up the mechanics of the battles for the first time, the digital version gets you up and running toot sweet. Looking to kick things off with some single player action? Dive right in as a hero or a villain.
Even better, if you're itchin' for some multiplayer mayhem, PSP and PC players can rock the cross-platform online play, while DS users can use Nintendo's online capabilities for some killer battles.
Whatever system you're on, multiplayer modes include Tournament, Free and Sealed in order to allow players of all skill levels to compete.
If you think you're good enough, stay sharp as Konami has promised Tournament support with prizes. Get swag for being good at playing games? Believe it.
And if you're worried that taking the TCG into the digital realm would limit the expansion capabilities inherent to trading cards, fret not! You'll be able to buy new packs and post cards for trade at the game's online store.
That's all we've got for now, but check out the mass of screenshots we've culled from all three versions of the game below. And make sure to visit Marvel.com in the coming weeks as we'll have a preview, videos and more!
