Since DOCTOR MANYAC [Marvel Mystery Comics#4(2/1940)] was a CHEMIST perhaps Tom DeFalco could have had him kidnap PROFESSOR ALBERT HORTON too.He could have revealed the ORIGINAL GREEN FLAMES were ANDROIDS[ http://www.marvel.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=154523 ] and that he forced PROFESSOR HORTON to give the GREEN FLAMES superpowers.PROFESSOR PHILO ZOG can still be forced to create ...

What I would have done different is that I would have used the ORIGINAL GREEN FLAMES seen in the MARVEL MYSTERY COMICS#4(2/1940) reprint seen in ...

The art for this issue #01 looks great. Nice,-- almost 1940's look to it.The Torch, Namor, Betty, The Angel, and The Ferret... who could ask for more. Except me.This looks like the kind of issue I'm going to HATE getting to the end of.Nice art... nice story... great heroes.. wished this kind of thing could go on monthly... giving us stories from the Golden Age... with these old Timely/Marvel ...
