Marvel hero grabs number one movie in America over the weekend

Ghost Rider roared to a record-breaking stop on Monday after tearing through theaters during its opening weekend.
According to Variety, the Sony film starring Nic Cage and Eva Mendes grabbed an estimated $51.5 million over the four-day holiday weekend, breaking the previous President's Day box office record by over $10 million.

Box Office Mojo lists Ghost Rider as the third-highest grossing movie of 2007 and informs that the Spirit of Vengeance's opening weekend is the top overall in the young year.
