I don't even have a problem with it being biased, this is all fun and hype leading up to the next release anyway... I just found it something to ponder that CC never stands a chance. It goes beyond it being a Marvel board though, because as Akuma vs Venom illustrates, popularity is far more than just a company thing, Akuma has enough fan demand that closer observation of who's actually the superior character (whether it's a technical debate of moves effectiveness i.e. hp, range, speed, damage resistance, etc., one about how seemingly powerful the game has them portrayed, or all about the cool factor) seems to have been possible. I enjoyed using CComm. back in the day and all, but he'll always be b-lister in this game at best while Cable, Akuma and Venom can have real street cred.

Any character can beat any character if you know how to play him right. All we're debating here is which character is easiest to win with/more likely to win in a one-on-one confrontation. And Cable's offensive set is more effective against CC than CC's set is against Cable. It doesn't mean Captain Commando sucks; it just means you have to play harder with Captain Commando in order to win....This board IS biased though. You're definitely right about that. I play MVC2 every day, and some of these explanations make no sense to me outside of favoritism.
