'Bout time they go somewhere with this... it just needs not to be a bore though, and ultimately, it needs to matter. Anyhow, how flimsy is the excuse for wanting Psylocke along to perform duties she is only now revealing and saying there is only a smidgen of proficiency with? What happened to the room full of scientists and the on-switch for image inducers? Would have made slightly more sense that her experience in alternate time-lines might come in handy, especially to fill out the bodyguard role better since there are a few non-combatants around.All of that aside, have none of them (or any of Marvel) thought about this team wanting to look somewhere else too? Like, say, at the two known Atlantean/Human hybrids? What are the odds that both of the known pairings of such couples produced the same type of mutation in their offspring not being viewed as a genetic disposition? I'd want to know what's behind sure-shot powerhouse creation like Namor and Namorita if I were a scientist looking to go on an expedition into the past. Plus, with Namor prominent in DR, and upcoming for DXM it'd be fitting to honor the supposed 'first' mutant eventually. Up until now, his mutant status (I'm assuming it's accepted that whatever is termed the x-gene is confirmed within his make up instead of just calling him one because he was different to his people) has not been getting any concern except these many years later that DXM is coming up. I'm not saying it needed to replace this current story, but if they really want to look at conditions in baseline humans without as much sources to blame as radiation and the proliferation of other super powered beings, then it might also help to look at how an offshoot race's mix-in lead to mutation as well (and not just a mutation, but one defined as due to the presence of the x-gene that associates and defines the mutant community).
