Fighter Name: Spider-Man
Real Name: Peter Parker
Universe: Marvel, Spider-Man
First Appearance: AMAZING FANTASY #15
Marvel/Capcom Game Appearances: "Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter," "Marvel vs. Capcom," "Marvel vs. Capcom 2"
Citizenship: USA
Brief Bio: Peter Parker lost his parents at a young age and moved in with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Blessed with an incredible intellect, Peter excelled in sciences and mathematics but unfortunately, was always picked last for dodgeball. Then one day, while attending a scientific lecture, a radioactive spider bit Peter on the hand, changing his fate forever. The irradiated bite gave Parker the speed, strength and agility of a spider.  He cashed in on his new abilities, making tv appearances and wrestling, but the power went to his head and a criminal he could have easily caught killed his Uncle Ben. Heartbroken, Peter vowed that his inaction would never cause harm to anyone ever again and became the amazing Spider-Man. In the words of Peter's Uncle Ben, "With great power comes great responsibility."
Powers: Spider-Man has the proportionate speed, strength, endurance, and agility of, you guessed it, a spider. He can stick to walls and has a special "spider sense" that alerts him to immediate danger, but what's a spider without its web? Spider-Man uses custom webshooters to capture foes in a sticky stream of webbing.
Special Moves: Web Ball, Web Swing, Web Throw, Spider Sting, Maximum Spider, Crawler Assault, Ultimate Web Throw
Quote: " Great fight; and some great pics for the J.J!"

Fighter Name:
Strider
Real Name: Strider Hiryu
Universe: Capcom, Strider
First Appearance: Strider (Arcade)
Marvel/Capcom Game Appearances: "Marvel vs. Capcom," "Marvel vs. Capcom 2"

Brief Bio: Strider Hiryu's past is a mystery wrapped up in an enigma. That's to say we don't know much about it. We do know that he comes from a time far in our future and that he is a part of the Strider ninja clan, a group of expert martial artists with a taste for technology. Strider's mission was to destroy Grand Master Meio, a devious tyrant who built a space station between the Earth and the moon in an attempt to conquer the world. Strider, using his awesome ninja skills, defeated Meio and saved the world. Now he's ready to test his skills against the greatest fighters the universe has ever known.
Powers: Strider uses a Cypher (razor sharp sword) much like a tonfa and can call on mechanical animals to help him fight.
Special Moves: Ame-no-Murakano, Excalibur, Gram, Vajra, Kabe Haritsuki, Warp, Formation A, B, C, Ouroboros, Ragnarkok, Legion
Quote: "Who can see the future? Those who create it."

YES!!! I thought you good folks had pitted Strider against Juggernaut, but THIS matchup definitely works better. The thing I love about this match is that these are two of the most agile characters in the game. Period. That being said, a match between these two is likely to get one-sided in either one's favor. Now, who's more likely to GAIN that favor? Hmm...Strider, as I've said before, has ...
