Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Showdown Spotlight: Iron Man vs. Mega Man

One of the most celebrated fighting games in history returns for another round! Nine years after taking the arcade gaming scene by storm and over six years after making its original home console debut, "Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes" will soon juggle-combo its way onto Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade and PS3's PSN!

In anticipation of the "MvC2"s next-gen debut, we're bringing you daily showdown spotlights pitting a Marvel character against a Capcom character. Each entry features official game artwork, character bios and polls to determine which universe really brings the heat.

Make sure to pick up "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" when it's released for X-Box Live Arcade on July 29 and PSN soon.

As awesome as being a super hero is, Tony also heads one of the world's largest companies, Stark International. How he finds time to save the world and manage a multi-billion dollar business empire we may never know, but he does so with the style and swagger of a man without a care in the world.

Tony's Iron Man armor is equipped with an array of technological weaponry. From repulor blasts to laser beams, smart bombs, and immense cannons, ol' Shellhead is prepared for just about everything.

Brief Bio: Genius inventor Dr. Light created Rock, a humanoid robot, to be his lab assistant. Rock was content to help Dr. Light with experiments until Light's rival robotic engineer Dr. Wily created his own evil robots. When Wily threatened take over the world, Rock answered to a higher calling. He volunteered to become Dr. Light's champion and the world's savior, and was converted into the buster-blasting, ability-absorbing robotic hero known as Mega Man. He fights Wily's robotic minions and uses their special powers against them for the good of all and he hasn't even hit puberty yet.
Powers: The little blue robot boy has super strength and speed due to his cyborg nature. He can charge up and fire beams of energy from his Mega Buster arm cannon. Also, after defeating boss enemies he can absorb their abilities into his Mega Buster and use them at will.

HA! Thought I wouldn't come back to this one didja!Of course, Iron Man's got his big beam hyper, which is quick and deadly. Also, his regular laser attack does GREAT chip damage. Iron Man can fly, air dash, run infinites, all that good stuff. I think what I like most about him is his knee drop (I always drop, then go right back to flying and drop again... it's REALLY irritating!) and his ...
