I have never been so upset after reading a comic. I can't believe what they let that hack Loeb do to Ultimates 3 and then to let him kill off half the ultimate universe, it's an insult to all fans of the ultimate universe. I will now only read ultimate spiderman (Bendis will find a way to clean up the mess Loeb made) and when Millar comes back I'll read his stuff, but the rest of the ultimate ...

I didn't even pay for Ultimatum, I refused. But I still ended up reading it off a friend. That's a couple hours of my life I'll never get back. Like anything Loeb has done recently, the high concept sounds cool, and the artwork is awesome but the story ends up being hollow and wanting.

This was by far the last time I invest time and energy into reading your books. You took this awesome idea that was the Ultimate Universe and your slowly perverted it. You caused the end a long time ago with bringing in horrible re-used plots, predictability of characters, and just hackneyed story telling. I have the first issues of both U. Spider-Man, U. X-Men and The Ultimates. That was everything that we all expected from this retelling and re-imagining. Somewhere along the line though you allowed it to stagnate. Characters became no different from the mainstream series versions. Villains were brought in to do the same thing they have always done. You could have done better. You HAVE done better.Shame on you for allowing the Ultimate Universe to come to such disrepair. Shame on you for giving it such a disrespectful ending.Shame on you for giving us such a waste of time.And Jeph Loeb, just stop. Put the pen down and just stop. You are done.
