Even then though I suspect that's just the reason they'll give if it's an even fight or Venom wins, thus contributing to the symbiote's long list of fanfiction cheat sheet powers.

The X-Men are doign well right now but it looks to me like all the big guns are in except for Cyclops and the psychics while we have not seen an appearance on the other side of: Marvel Boy, Sentry, Ares, Armored Osborn and Namor...some serious heavy hitters who could probably take on the X-Men on their own in a ...

Looks great...but this is the X-Men vs the Dark X-Men and the Dark Avengers? The X-Men are doign well right now but it looks to me like all the big guns are in except for Cyclops and the psychics while we have not seen an appearance on the other side of: Marvel Boy, Sentry, Ares, Armored Osborn and Namor...some serious heavy hitters who could probably take on the X-Men on their own in a storylines in the past.My guess is that Emma "betrays" Osborn/Namor and that turns the battle and causes Osborn to end the fight as it becomes pointless and his approach has to change. But the X-Men get their butts handed to them up to that point.At least, Wolverine can always say he had his Avengers in backup anyways, if things got really hairy...
