Here on Marvel.com will be previewing some of these pin-ups and pieces of art—from both new and legendary DD creators alike—as well as some art from the issue, which I will be yammering on and on about.
Today we’re taking a look at regular DAREDEVIL artist Michael Lark's work, from his first issues on the series to a few pages from #500.

Michael is one of the best storytellers in the industry, and a consummate professional and a great guy to boot. While we had one or two guest artists complete an issue of DAREDEVIL every year, Michael is pretty much a monthly guy, which means that he's able to pencil 22 pages of pencils approxiamtely every month. That's rare in this day and age, but it's the primary reason why DAREDEVIL has (more or less) maintained a monthly schedule over the past three years.

If you're a young artist looking to explore the fundamentals of storytelling, it will pay dividends to examine and deconstruct the crisp, clean storytelling inherent in Michael's pages .
