Faced with the increasingly callous MRD crackdown on mutants, Angel has become a vigilante, helping hapless mutants escape capture. But this causes severe friction between Angel and his father, Warren Sr. And when Angel finds that Worthington Pharmaceuticals is developing a mutant “cure,” it’s the last straw. Seeing that he can’t talk sense into his son, Warren Sr. calls the MRD on him. Unfortunately, during the capture, Angel is badly injured, and his wings are broken. Deprived of the use of his wings, Angel will do anything to fly again, even if it means turning to the malevolent Mister Sinister for help.
