SDCC Makes Marvel Theirs!
July was in incredible month for Marvel as we exploded onto the San Diego Comic Con scene, making top news stories daily. In addition to Iron Man 2 being the special cover story for Entertainment Weekly, the Marvel booth was the most buzz-worthy site in the entire convention thanks to the stunning Hall of Armors as well as the star-studded line-up of guests and special programming we had featured. The panels were incredibly well-attended and the announcement of Marvel acquiring the rights to Marvelman quickly became the most-discussed story of the entire convention from a publishing standpoint. A sneak preview of The Super Hero Squad Show was shown to a packed house of fans who enthusiastically cheered it on and helped build anticipation for the upcoming launch of the animated series. Combined with the reaction to the Iron Man 2 footage shown as well as other animation sneak peeks, it is clear that fans at San Diego Comic-Con want to keep making theirs Marvel!
