Marvel's 70th Anniversary Takes Over the Globe
In August, Marvel Comics celebrated its 70th Anniversary, and from New York to L.A. and Portland to Atlanta, some of the top names in comics came out to sign, celebrate, and salute Marvel's continuing tradition of excellence that has been a hallmark of the House of Ideas since Marvel Comics #1 was published in 1939. Retailers and book stores across the country joined in this monumental occasion by participating in special Anniversary parties, with special deals and exclusives only available on August 11th, including featured character appearances and special signings at Barnes & Nobles' flagship stores.
