***Updated on 11/4/09 with all the covers—more than 100 in total!***
The Hero Initiative's Wolverine: Weapon X 100 Project is complete!
We have printed off Hero-exclusive blank-cover copies of the recent Wolverine: Weapon X #1 and Hero got 100 artists to do an original Wolverine cover on each!
The result is a star-studded Adamantium fest the likes of which has never been seen before! Fan favorites and comic book legends such as Neal Adams, J. Scott Campbell, Gene 'The Dean' Colan and many many more provided beautiful covers for this terrific cause.
ComicBookResources.com, IGN.com, Marvel.com and Newsarama.com are showing off a quarter of the covers each exclusively!
Want one of these magnificent mutant-filled covers? You can bid on the originals via Hero's eBay page starting in late October.
And even if you're not a high bidder, don't fret! All the covers will be collected in a rollickin' Hero Initiative benefit book in early December!
As always, for more on Hero and its charitable mission to help comic creators in medical or financial need, check out HeroInitiative.org.

where's carlo pagulayan's piece?some are obviously rushed but still look pretty good sketches. some appear to have been taken seriously by the artist but fail to make an impact.i wish they could bring in the other big names (even from DC) for such a good objective.
I'm pretty impressed with the ones I looked at. I think some of them have not been inked. That could be what gives some of them a slightly unfinished look. I like Jae Lee's sketch a lot. It may look a little unclean in parts, but it conveys a lot of emotion.
Its mediocre at best.
dude calm down you at 10 and need to be at 2, the art work looks fine.
Well these are so unimaginative... and the artwork... ugh. The compositions and the line quality on almost everyone is horrendous. What would be nice if they opened this up for Fan artwork and let everyone vote for the covers they wanted to see. Who knows who might get discovered? Why not ...Two categories of covers done by the pros and one category of fan art? Just a thought.
