Since the company formed in 1991, Tonner has become synonymous with “quality”; the perennial doll-making powerhouses have done justice to many licensed and non-licensed characters through their expertly crafted products. The doll-making demigods hosted their first-ever Marvel event at their Tonner convention last May, where they announced their brand new Marvel Tonner Character Figures line! While the Captain America collectable sold out quickly, San Diego Comic-Con attendees may get another chance to snag the rare piece! Like all of Tonner’s works, the Star Spangled Soldier is hand painted, has rooted saran hair and is made of the finest quality vinyl and hard plastic. To commemorate his 70th anniversary, this Captain America collectable comes with a special centerpiece and is suited up in his Golden Age attire, which includes a stretch bodysuit with custom scale printing, faux leather gauntlets, faux leather boots, molded helmet and original triangular shield from CAPTAIN AMERICA COMICS #1!
