Time is ticking down to Comic-Con International, and Diamond Select Toys will be bringing their amazing Marvel products to San Diego! The DST staff will be hanging out at Booth 2607 -- not far from the Marvel booth -- showing off some cool, upcoming Marvel toys and they're bringing an exclusive set of Marvel Minimates as well as a Minimates-styled variant comic cover!

X-Men Days of Future Past SDCC Minimates

The Marvel Minimates X-Men Days of Future Past Comic Box Set takes fans back in time... to 1981! That's when Chris Claremont and John Byrne's original "Days of Future Past" storyline came out in Uncanny X-Men Vol. 1 #141-142, and this 4-pack of Minimates captures four of the storyline's most important characters! Future Wolverine, Future Kate Pryde, Mystique and a Future Sentinel each stand 2 inches tall and feature interchangeable parts and accessories, including extra heads for Mystique and the Sentinel, and a full hair-and-outfit change for Kate Pryde! Limited to 3,000 pieces, the set will be available for $20 at DST booth #2607. It will be packaged in a full-color window box.

As a bonus, Marvel and Diamond Comic Distributors have teamed up to offer a SDCC-exclusive variant comic cover to tie in to the Days of Future Past box set! As an alternate cover to Uncanny X-Men Vol. 2 #23, Minimates designer Barry Bradfield has re-created Byrne's famous cover to Uncanny X-Men Vol. 1 #141 in the Minimate style with Future Wolverine protecting Kate Pryde in front of a wall of wanted posters. The issue will retail for $3.99, and you can get a list of participating retailers at Diamond Comics booth #2401.
