I disagree in part with METSGT86, are almost the same thematic dialogue and action, and the big problem I see is now drawing DISNEY ago, it seems exceedingly poor, as for an audience of 8 to 12 years. Besides comic DC has kept its original content MARVEL unlike that having new owners, everything changes, and not necessarily for the better.Unfortunately we have to see these animations from Disney, which forMARVEL character is the worst ......

I think this new series is great. I look forward to more episodes and to seeing the show coming out on DVD. These are the Avengers characters that I remember from the 1960's. Somewhere along the line the Avengers find Captain America in a block of ice. They thaw him out and he joins the team.

By the way, the original Avengers group were the Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye,Hank and Jan Pym or better known as Ant Man and Yellow Jacket, Wonder-Man and I think Thor but I can't confirm. I know it was not this current group of Avengers because the Hulk was always the one hero, that every Marvel super hero had to fight against, but never became close friends, and was never in any group! He was too wild and uncontrollable since he really was a monster but with a scientist for an alter-ego.

I do like the new Avengers cartoon but it still lacks the storyline puch that the Justice League or either of the Superman or Batman animated series, had. This cartoon, much like most Marvel cartoons and recent movies, is mostly about fighting and not much dialogue. That's not how I remember the JLA or Superman TAS, Batman TAS or even the original 60's series of Spider-man. Now the new Spectacular Spider-man cartoon is done really well with good storylines and script. I just feel this cartoon needs to be more like those cartoons to be considered an excellent cartoon like the JLA or Spectacular Spider-man. And for the commentor who said this new Avengers cartoon was like the JLA, all I can say I think you should buy the DVD of the first season of the JLA and see for yourself it's not! Still this is a good cartoon, but it does need a little fine tuning with the stories!

You know as a 30 year old comic fan, I was so pleased to be able to watch the premiere of a new animated Marvel series with my 10 month old son on my lap! Watching the all-star cast of characters that I so fondly remember growing up with on the screen is fantastic!! Many of the so-called super hero based cartoons are really not up to par, but The Avengers kicked a$$..can't wait to watch the next episode!

Finally we have a Avengers cartoon that has the original members!! They have introduced many of Marvel's villains as well, i.e. Constrictor, the Griffen, Ultron. This is just going to get better. Soon Cap, Hawkeye and Black Panther will be joining the team and I would like to think that Hercules, Wonderman, Vision and others will also be introduced in later episodes or seasons. It is pretty cool that they are following the classic Avengers storylines (with some changes of course). I also liked the fact that they had Logan fighting alongside Captain America in WWII. Hopefully we can also see other Marvel teams and heroes fight alongside the Avengers: X-Men, Fantastic Four (since Dr. Doom has been mentioned by Iron Man in Epidsode 1) and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. I can't wait for the next episode. Thanks Marvel for giving us fans what we wanted for a long time and keep up the good work.

This show IS what Marvel has needed. It Marvel's answer to Teen Titans and the Justice League Unlimited. I LOVE IT!!! Fans don't be too particular to continuity. They are truly bringing justice to our characters. Seriously great respect is done to each character and it showcases the diversity of MARVEL villains over DC villains. This show is backed up by the WARBOUND WARRIORS OF THE HALLS OF HULK. CAPEBREAKERHULK HAS SPOKEN!!!

Hercules better be in this series--expand the mythology. He is the quintessential Hero Archtype and besides I believe I saw cyclops and minotaurs in the Cap America micros--not part of Norse mythology/religion..so it would suggest Olympus will be brought in

I can't wait... this show has been great so far. IMO the best animated series Marvel has done yet.May be their best but not the expected best like iron man movies (above the expectation). This guys needs need to follow a specific storyline; the original marvel universe(Earth 616) or the ultimate universe. And I didn't like the way they represent black widow till now! And also like to pint out gender discrimination on the show. Include ms. marvel and black widow as a member of the avengers.

the theme song is bad also and you guys should make a new avenger show. the avenger meet in asgard not in a cube.

@CapeBreakerHulk Howdy old friend. It's Twin Titan jaxthejester giving you a shout out. I'm not a big fan of the "new" Marvel.com commenting system. The Halls of Hulk have relocated over to Mickeys Tavern (another comic site you may remember from the good ole' days). Tons of old friends are there. Greeenscar1990. GammaCosmic. GammaScream. Foxy Shazam. Wolvie316. Good times. Swing over and say hello to the gang when you get a chance. We've even set up a new Halls of Hulk home base. To find us, just click the link below. Or Google "Mickeys Tavern Comics" and it'll bring you on over. Hope to see you there brother.
