I see they've decided to go with the Movie version of Stark. Smart aleck like Spiderman. That's not who he was but, again the animation is pretty good and at least it doesn't appear corny.

All I have to say is "I wish they had all this when I was a kid!" I guess I'll just have to be a grown man watching cartoons! I love Marvel Comics!!!!

looks good to me, something for our future comic book fans to watch. Some people are really over-analyzing this.

I could not agree more! Actually I think he sounds like Jack Black and RDJ... and I don't mean that as a good thing.

I appreciate the effort to make Stark sound like Downey, and Pepper too sound like whats-her-face, but the character designs I dont care for. Stark looks like an old bum, and Pepper's head looks completely unattractive.

I have been following Iron Man since I was probably 5 or 6 years old. My first comic with Iron Man was a Tales of Suspense in which he shared the title with Cap. I have been extremely pleased with all that Marvel has done with my favorite Marvel character recently, including this cartoon. No origin to kick it off is just fine with me. As always the back story fills in as you go in the comics. Watching Tony in action in armor kicking Hydra-butt, AIM-butt, Titanium Man-butt, Mandarin-butt - its all great! Power me up, Jarvis.

Who needs super powers when you have ingenuity and guts! Money helps, but we all know Tony can be penniless and still create awesome mechs! Plus is that the voice of Robert Downey Jr? or is it someone else's voice being modulated to sound like his?

Oh, and another thing. I'm really hoping for great things with Marvel/Disney outright owning the show creatively/financially.

Having a rather large base of knowledge about Marvel history, I am VERY VERY pleased it started out this way. No damn origin story, no needless "the media watches in fear". Most Marvel fans know the Avengers and don't need lengthy exposition. I like that, while stylized, it isn't to the point that Spectacular Spiderman was... the neo-cartoon standard, yet it still seems kid friendly enough to work. Oh, and Hydra agents in classic green? This gets better by the second!

ok hate tony's voice but the action shows promise. yeah the graphics aren't great butif they can make up for it with good stories and great action, then i can deal. now marvel, please don't drop the ball!

I was worried at first; once again, Marvel fails to deliver the high concept that made all the DC work so successful. Where is Marvel's Bruce Timm? Production is tight and clean, and the writing varies from clumsy dialogue (out of here how many times?) to engaging. By the time Tony, Pepper, and Rhody have viewed the newsfootage of the Hydra attack, I was pulled in. Tony's banter seemed natural and Marvelicious. Still, this is an awfully small taste. I'll watch it regularly, but I still want more risk from Marvel!

So far it does not look terrible. But Cap'll be leading the team once he shows up, right?
