Wolverine and X-Men Join Forces to Prevent World Destruction: New Animated Series Wolverine and the X-Men Is Set to Continue Its Worldwide Expansion in January 2009. Marvel Animation is more than excited about the anticipation building around Wolverine and the X-Men, the new action-packed animated series set to hit the international airwaves in January 2009. The all new 26 episode, half-hour series, has already launched in Latin America, Canada and Italy and will expand to the U.K. on BBC Network, Canada on the Teletoon Network and the US on Nicktoons Network starting January 2009. With a media plan valued at over 5 Million dollars targeting over 350 million impressions Wolverine and the X-Men is set to be the premiere series of 2009. Wolverine and the X-men is benefitting from the support of a wide array of on-air and off-channel promotions. The show is tentatively set to be streamlined through cross channel spots on Nickelodeon, The N, Spike, and mtvU.
