First airing on the ABC television network in 1967, the series revolves around the scientific-minded teenager Peter Parker who, after being bitten by a radioactive spider, develops amazing strength and spider-like powers. He decides to become a crime-fighting, costumed super hero; all the while dealing with his personal problems and the insecurities resulting from being a teenager. Each episode features two parts so you get twice as many web-slinging adventures in each video!

''The Spider and the Fly'': A mysterious character called the Human Fly is toying with Spider-Man by leading him away from a site and then stealing jewelry at the site. Spider-Man must outsmart the Human Fly to get to the bottom of the fiasco.

''The Slippery Dr. Von Schlick'': Spiderman encounters a slippery villain named Dr. Von Schlick in the middle of a fire. After losing him a second time while trying to prevent a barge from sinking, Spider-Man has no option but to stop this menace once and for all.

I love the 196 toons! These are the ones I watched when I was younger. I would love to have all of these on DVD. I would also like to have the old spider woman toons on DVD. If these are available for purchase, I'd love to know how to get them.Is the voice actor for Peter Parker the same as Herbie the elf on Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer? Did the art for these toons come from the same source as the old Flintstones toon? They animation looked similar at times.
