Nine years after taking the arcade gaming scene by storm and over six years after making its original home console debut, "Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes" returns! Slated to hit Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade and PS3's PSN, expect the same fast, furious and fantastic gameplay you loved with even more awesome online head-to-head action!

The fine folks over at the PlayStation Blog have announced that PS3 gamers will get an EXCLUSIVE, free demo of "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" via PSN starting Thursday, April 30!
The demo features two-player local matches with six available characters (Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Ryu, Chun-Li and Strider) across seven different environments! And yes, the graphics will be upscaled to 1080p with both widescreen and 4:3 aspect ratio options. There will be more goodies, but you'll have to download the demo to find out what they are!

OMG I'm so excited!! I seriously tried to buy this guy just this month on ebay and I kept losing!!! At least now I'll finally get to play this legendary game. I can't wait to get amazing combos with Storm!!
All I know is that I'm excited. I got lucky walking into a Gamestop years ago, saw this on the shelves, and snatched it up quickly for my PS2....Paid $55 USED!!!!!! Anywho, it broke on me and after talking trash to my brother about what team we would choose to beat down on one another, I'm not looking at who's missing or who should be included, let alone a possible MvC3... I'm just waiting on the download.

You gotta think about when the game came out.....Marrow was a part of the X-Men and Wolverine was without his Adamantium. The game was right on target for the Comic timeline. It would seem weird looking back on it now.
