Universe: Marvel, Spider-Man
First Appearance: AMAZING FANTASY #15
Real Name: Peter Parker
Brief Bio: Bitten by a radioactive spider, Peter Parker gained the proportionate strength, speed and abilities of an arachnid, initially becoming Spider-Man and using his skills to make a little extra cash. But when a petty burglar killed his Uncle Ben--a burglar Peter could have stopped--Peter decided to dedicate his life to helping those in need. Now he fights crime and super criminals as the Amazing Spider-Man and lives by the words of his late Uncle Ben: With great power must also come great responsibility.
Powers: Spider-Man possesses super strength, speed, agility and reflexes. He can stick to nearly any surface and has a precognitive “spider sense” that warns him of incoming danger. He also invented mechanical web shooters and a synthetic web fluid which he uses to battle his foes.
Play Style: Spider-Man is all about getting up close and personal and he has a multitude of ways to close the distance and apply pressure. You can use his Web Zip to get in close and it can be cancelled for surprise attacks. His Spider Swing helps immensely in block strings and beefs up his already impressive pressure game; it can be comboed into and out of for some awesome punishing/pressure power. And when your opponent jumps to escape your spider smackdown, use the Ultimate Web Throw, an unblockable grab that catches airborne enemies, for huge damage!

Universe: Capcom, Mega Man X
First Appearance: “Mega Man X”
Real Name: Zero
Brief Bio: Built as the most advanced Maverick in Doctor Wily’s army, Zero's brash and rebellious nature led Wily to seal the 'bot away. When Zero finally woke from his slumber after the Wily Wars, initially fighting the Maverick Hunters. Zero eventually became a Maverick Hunter, joining forces to hunt down the Reploids that sought to destroy humanity. Working alongside Mega Man, the two fight to protect the humans and keep the world safe.
Powers: Zero has increased strength, speed, reflexes and durability due to his robotic nature. His X-Buster allows him long-range offensive capabilities while his Z-Sword is devastating in close combat.
Play Style: Zero has some sick normals that hit multiple times, are special-cancellable and lead to very big damage. Because of these multi-hit normals, Zero has a surprisingly efficient pressure game. He also has a host of projectiles that help to balance out his arsenal. Once you get in, you can launch your foe for big damage, use his X-Buster to relaunch, and then destroy with a hard-hitting OTG hyper.
